Ingredients
- 1 cup Obento sushi rice
- 3 tbsp Obento sushi seasoning
- Kewpie Mayonnaise 50% reduced fat
- Obento Maki Nori 5 sheets
- Sesame seeds
- Soy sauce
- 1 ripe avocado (or other fillings or your choice)
- Bamboo sushi rolling mat
Method
- Wash the sushi rice thoroughly and cook according to package instructions in a rice cooker.
- Once the rice is cooked add the 3 tbsp of sushi seasoning and fluff up the rice. Set it aside to cool.
- Meanwhile peel, deseed and slice avocado into thin slices.
- Lay out nori shiny side down on to bamboo sushi rolling mat and spread cooled rice in an even layer - leaving some space at the top and bottom of the sheet.
- Spread Kewpie Mayonnaise 50% reduced fat over the rice and sprinkle sesame seeds over. Layer Avocado slices into a thin row. Don't add too much filling or your Maki will be hard to roll!
- Using the bamboo rolling mat, tightly roll the nori. Using a sharp knife slice into 4-5 pieces. Serve with Soy Sauce or condiments of your choice!
