Ingredients
- Beef mince
- Infused Garlic & Onion Oil (Low Fodmap)
- Spring Onion (Green part only - low Fodmap)
Method
- This recipe follows Low Fodmap dietry needs.• 8 Lettuce leaves• Garlic & Onion Infused oil• 500g beef mince (regular) - too lean & it will be too dry)• 80g carrot• 50g water chestnuts (diced)• Sliced chili as garnish (optional)• Salt & ground black pepper to taste.
- • Trim 8 lettuce leaves to form cups and place on serving plates
- •Heat desired oil in wok or pan & cook beef until well browned. •Add salt & black pepper to taste• Add 2tbsp water, cover for 1 minute.• Add carrot & water chestnuts & cook briefly• Stir in 1 packet of Lee Kum Kee Ready Sauce for San Choy Bao & cook for 2 minutes. • Spoon into lettuce cups & garnish with spring onion (green part only) & chilli is optional. • Add soy sauce if you like it salty!
