Ingredients
- This recipe follows Low Fodmap dietary needs
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 300g beef (minced)
- 1 tbsp garlic & onion infused oil
- 80g carrot (diced)
- 50g water chestnuts (diced)
- 2 tbsp spring onion (green part only)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- Sliced chilli for garnish (optional)
Method
- Trim 8 lettuce leaves to form cups and place on serving plates.
- Heat oil in wok or pan and cook spring onions for 1 minute.
- Add beef, cook until brown. Add salt and pepper and stir through. Add 2 tbsp of water and cover for 1 minute.
- Add carrot and water chestnuts and cook briefly.
- Stir in 1 packet of Lee Kum Kee Ready Sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
- Spoon in lettuce cups and garnish with chilli (optional)
- Add soy sauce if you like it salty!
- Enjoy!
