Ingredients
- 1kg chicken wing
- 150ml light soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
- 200ml water
- 60g sugar
- 3 slices of ginger
- 3 stalks of shallot
- 3 tablespoon of oil
Method
- Wash the chicken wings, then pat dry. In a pot, add oil, ginger and shallot stalks, then add in the chicken wing, and pan fry for 1 mins or until skin is slightly golden.
- Add in 150ml of light soy sauce, 200ml of water, 3 tablespoon of dark soy sauce and 60g of sugar. Cover lid and cook for 10 mins.
- Turn off the heat and let the chicken wings submerge in the sauce for another 20 mins. Enjoy!
