- -Thinly slice rump steak-Finely chop ginger, garlic, chilli & coriander stalks-To make marinade, combine sesame oil, pinch of sugar, soy sauce & egg. Pour over sliced rump.- place corn flour in bowl & season with salt & pepper- add marinated beef to cornflour until evenly coated- heat vegetable oil in wok. When to 180°, fry beef for 2 mins. (Do in two batches so wok doesn't lose heat)-place on paper towel to drian- in two batches again, fry beef for a second time to make super crispy- to make sauce, combine tomato sauce, honey, black vinegar & Kecap Manis-in clean wok, fry off ginger, garlic, chilli & coriander stalks-add sauce ingredients & bring to the boil & becomes thick-add beef to sauce & toss until beef is completely covered. - serve in a bowl with white rice, coriander leaves & extra fresh chilli if you like it HOT!
