Ingredients
- 10 sheets of Yaki nori sea weed
- 10 sheets of spring roll wraps
- 1 egg
- 2 cups of canola oil
- 1 tsp of salt
Method
- seperate the spring roll wraps into individual pieces
- Then beat the egg and evenly spread the egg with a brush along the spring roll wrap
- Then place 1 sheet of seaweed (yaki nori) on top of the spring roll wrap and make sure it’s stuck together
- Then take a kitchen scissors and cut the sheet in 5x5 squares
- Repeat 1-4 steps until you finished all your seaweed sheets
- In a pan pour 2 cups of canola oil
- Preheat the pan for 5 mins on high heat
- Then after 5 mins low the heat and place the seaweed chips in the pan and make sure all of them are individually placed to prevent sticking together
- Wait till the chips have curled then place onto a bowl with kitchen towel paper
- Then sprinkle 1 tsp of salt on top of the seaweed chips then your ready to eat
