Ingredients
- 1 X 227g Volcom sliced water chestnuts
- 1/3 cup sultanas
- 2 tbspn water
- 3 cooking apples
- 3 tspns maple syrup
- 2 X 170g tins passionfruit pulp
- 1 X 450g crushed pineapple
- 2 tspns ground cinnamon
- 1 tspn ground nutmeg
- 1 tbspn white wine
- 1 tpsn vanilla extract
Method
- Soak sultanas in wine & water for at least an hour
- Peel & core apples. Use lemon juice to prevent apples browning
- Melt water & sugar over heat until sugar melts
- Place combined apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla & maple syrup in a frypan. Drain sultanas, add liquid. Stir at a simmer. Cook until apples reach desired tenderness. 20-30 minutes.
- Combine with all other ingredients.
- Lightly grease baking dish. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (380 F). Cook at 200 until marshmallows start to melt & brown.
- Serve with cream or ice cream
