Ingredients
- 750g of beef
- 2tbsp of cooking oil
- 300g of potatoes
- 250g of carrots
- 750g of onions
- 1200ml of water
Method
- Dice the potatoes and carrots.
- Slice the onions.
- Dice the beef and place in pot with hot oil. Season with salt and pepper. Let the beef cook for approximately 10mins.
- Add the water and bring to boil. Put veggies in and cover until ingredients are tender, approximately 15mins.
- Cut the roux finely and add to the pot. Stir until melted and let simmer on low heat for 10mins until it thickens, stirring constantly.
- Dish out in a bowl and enjoy with rice :)
