Ingredients
- 8 xCooked prawns
- 2 tblsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cabbage grated
- Grated carrot
- 1/2 grated onion
- Chopped spring onions
- Tblsp chilli flakes,salt and pepper,tblsp of Ponzu sauce
- Plain flour x 2 cups,2x eggs 100ml water,1 x teaspoon soy,1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
- ABC sweet soy sauce,egg mayonnaise, Tonkatsu sauce and Wasabi mix together for side condiment
Method
- Mix the grated vegies and chopped cooked prawns, add salt pepper and chilli flakes
- Mix flour,baking powder, water gluten free soy and eggs to make a batterFold into prawn and grated vegies and mix together
- Heat oil in a large fry pan ,spoon prawn pancake mixture into 4 well sized pancakes Cook till nice and crispy and golden.When cooked, I cut into wedge size and plate up.Drizzle ABC Sweet sauce over the top and sprinkle with chilli flakes and spring onions
- I always make an egg mayonnaise, wasabi,and soy side accompanied with all my Asian dishes,it's my husband's favourite!!!!!!
- I had a few prawns left,so I made prawn sushi as well,and used soy and wasabi mayonnaise,to dress them
