Ingredients
- Fresh tuna steaks (I was lucky to catch my own Southern Blue Fin Tuna π)
- Chilli oil
- Spinach or I used fresh Silverbeet out of our garden
- pre cooked Tofu cut in cubes
- Black sesame seeds
- light soy sauce
Method
- Steam, boil or fry spinach enough spinach for one person , drain and toss tofu cubes through, return to pot or pan and put lid on to help keep warm.
- Pan fry tuna steaks cut into small pieces in a little chilli oil. Season with salt and Pepper and Sprinkle a little Black sesame seeds as well (optional) (addition of some garlic is optional too)
- Leave a pink line in middle of tuna (donβt overcook as it drys it out) only takes a couple of minutes each side). Once cooked add a good dash of light soy and leave on heat for an extra half a minute
- assemble poke bowl with spinach tofu mix first then tuna on top, including soy pan juices, very gently toss. Can add more light soy to taste. Tasty ,healthy & quick!
