Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 teaspoon Obento Mirn2 tablespoons Obento rice wine vinegar 2 teaspoon salt 30 grams pickled gingerObento soy sauce to own taste5 sheets Obento Yaki Nori
- 1 cucumber 1 avocado 200 grams smoked salmon or marinated chicken
Method
- Wash rice in cold water, boil rice in 2 litres of water, add 1 teaspoon of salt. Drain rice and spread rice on a large baking tray, place rice in fridge to cool down. When rice is cold (1 hour) add mirn, rice wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt and mix well.
- Peel cucumber, slice long ways and remove seeds. Slice avocado same as cucumber long ways. Slice smoked salon or marinated chicken or a little of both.
- On a bamboo mat place Nori sheets lay rice on Nori to completely cover the Nori. Lay smoked salmon and/or marinated chicken, lay cucumber and avocado slices, also add picked ginger. Slowly roll bamboo mat to form sushi rolls. Slice sushi rolls to form bite size sushi. Serve with Obento sauce sauce
