Ingredients
- Smoky Caulliflower pattie with sweet potato and kale
- Brioche bun
- 2 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
- 2 pickles
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 2 slices of cheese
- Quarter of a onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup baby spinach leaves
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- Cook the cauliflower patties in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 5-8 minutes each side in a frypan. When almost done top the patties with 2 slices of cheese and leave a minute in pan to soften cheese slightly.
- While cooking patties grill the brioche bun under the grill. Split brioche bun in half and top with butter. Grill brioche buns while cooking patties until middle of buns are crisp.
- While patties and brioche buns are being prepared slice the pickles into 1 cm pieces
- When cauliflower patties are heated through and brioche buns have crisped up, assemble burgers. Start with Kewpie mayonnaise on bottom half of brioche bun. Top this with pickle pieces. Add onto this patties topped with cheese. Next add onion slices. Add the baby spinach.On top brioche bun smear on barbecue sauce. Put lid of bun on. Enjoy!
