Ingredients
- 750g Chuck Steak thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup raw sugar
- 1 teaspoons dried chili flakes
- 4 shallots, finely sliced
- red capsicum, julienned
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 beef stock cup mixed with 1/4 cup of water
Method
- Add very thinly sliced steak strips to a bag and cornflour and toss to coat. Add sesame oil to slow cooker and add in meat.
- Add all other ingredients except shallots in a jug and mix well.Cover and coat the meat well and add in the capsicum and shallots. Cook on high for 3 hours.Serve with extra shallots or herbs, or coriander and jasmine rice.
