Ingredients
- 150g ramen noodles
- 500g beef mince
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 small onion sliced
- 1 red capsicum sliced
- 2 T Chinese cooking wine
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1/4 cup beef stock
- 1/4 t Chinese five spice
- 1/4 t chilli flakes
- 1 T cornflour mixed with 2 T water
Method
- Cook noodles according to packet directions
- Mix together Chinese cooking wine, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, beef stock, Chinese 5 spice & chilli flakes.
- In a wok over medium heat, add 1 T vegetable oil.Cook onion, then add mince breaking up any large lumps. Cook until almost all browned.Add capsicum and cook until slightly softened.
- Add sauce and stir to combine.Add noodles and mix gently to coat in sauce and warm through.
- Serve topped with spring onion and sesame seeds.
