Ingredients
- 2 x Sardines (Cannned)
- 2 x Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 3 x Tablespoon Raw Sugar
- 5 Grains Rice (Delta Mix formula of white rice, brown rice, wild rice (optional), quinoa, lentils)
- Butter or margarine
Method
- Poor Man's Fish. Add canned sardines (x2), soy sauce, raw sugar and 1/3 cup of water to a pan. Bring to boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, turning sardines once, until fish has caramelised. Turn off heat, and allow to rest.
- 5 Grains Rice. Bring rice to boil and mix in prepared ingredients (brown rice, wild rice (optional), quinoa and canned lentils). (Grains ratio 3Wr : 1Br : 1Ln : 1Q : ½Wildr)(when cooked). When rice is hot, and prior to serving, fold through one tablespoon of butter (or margarine) per person.
- Serving suggestion. Plate up Poor Man's Fish on a bed of 5 Grains Rice. Serve warm.
