- 1. Cool Salmon tin in fridge= personal preference for me if having with meat(if vego skip salmon steps chickpeas are nice protein alternative I think).2. Add hot water to vermicelli noodles to soften and strain, put back in the damp bowl so don't dry out.3. Chop up/ prep fav salads.4. Remove Salmon from the fridge/ and the tin and mash-up *gently with some salt and pepper.5. One by one add rice paper rolls on a rimmed dinner plate with some hot water till paper roll softens be careful for 3o seconds very *hot step, but they cool and soften quickly.once rice paper rolls are soft like noodles, put on clean surface ie bench flat, quickly in centre add small amount of each -salad, rice noodles and tuna with two drops of yeos **sesame oil, ( with damp hands is so much easier btw) , Then quicky wrap both sides in then roll like a wrap and set aside (sealed side up as they tend to stick and fall apart) till you do the other 5 wraps.( 1 for me always the first one sucks so I do 5 so mum and I have two good ones each, we can fight over the last one :) )6. Once all Salmon salad rolls are wrapped put in the fridge as we like them really cold, better flavour, and set nicely approx 15 mins for us.7. while our salmon and rice paper rolls are chilling I make mums, not spicy dipping sauce= sweet soy sauce-**kecap manis ABC with some sesame seeds. And then my dipping sauce is 3x tbsp of soy sauce with 1/2 tsp of ** my fav ingredient ever **pure sesame oil-YEOS and some chilli flakes. we always serve with icy cold pickled ginger for us both, easily attainable and wasabi paste for me. Me = likes it hot , mum does not like hot stuff, so the two different sauces are good for us.the last step is dip yummy chilled salmon, salad and vermicelli rolls in your sauce and enjoy :):):):)It's simple but delicious that's why I love these ingredients and Japanese/ Thai inspired recipes i hope you guys like 1 of the3 recipes I submitted I'm Aussie girl, that loves all Asian inspired ingredients, cooking with them is fragrant, tasty and relaxing and sharing them with my friends and mum all can be any course and are super easy:):) Thank you lots of fun= Ashleigh Sanders :):)
