Ingredients
- 1.5 teaspoons cornflour & 3 tablespoons water
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tbsp mirin seasoning
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 400 gram minced pork
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 3 Cloves minced garlic
- 2cm finely chopped ginger
- 1small diced carrot
- 1/2 can water chestnuts
- Lettuce leaves for serving
Method
- Mix cornflour & water to paste
- Add soy sauces oyster sauce sesame oil mirin seasoning & sugar & stir - set aside
- Stir fry onions, garlic & ginger until soft
- Add pork mince & cook until pork turns white
- Add carrot
- Stir in sauce that was set aside & continue to cook for 1 minute
- Add chopped water chestnuts & heat thru
- Place washed lettuce leaves in bowl & place a generous serving of mince mixture on top.
- Wrap lettuce leaves around mixture & enjoy
