Ingredients
- 500g Pork Mince
- 2tbs sesame oil
- ABC Kecap Manis to taste
- Grated vegetables (carrot, zucchini, mushroom, broccoli)
- Peas
- Corn
- Soy sauce
- Rice noodles (twist)
- Lettuce cups
- 1 ts Brown sugar
Method
- This recipe is designed to suit babies and adults, providing 5+ vegetable servings. To lightly cook the Pork Mince.Add 2 tbs oil and 2 tbs ABC Kecap Manis to a wok or pan with mince meat, and cook until browned (5 mins).
- Combine 2 tbs soy sauce, 1/4 bottle of ABC sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tbs sesame oil in a cup.
- Grate your vegetables of choice while the meat is cooking.Next add these to the pan (1 carrot, 1 zucchini, 7 small mushrooms, a few broccoli).Add peas and corn (1/2 cup).
- Add the sauce to the vegetables and meat with 1/4 cup of water.Stir dish so it is mixed well and leave to simmer. Add more sauce to taste.
- Serve in lettuce cups (adults) or in a bowl or on top of shredded lettuce for babies/toddlers.
- Dish Twist: Soak a cup (or more to taste) of flat rice noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes until soft. Add these to the dish with more ABC to taste.
- Serve with a side of bean sprouts for adultsServe with a side of watermelon for babies
