Ingredients
- For the filling - 500g Pork mince, very finely sliced and diced bamboo shoot slices, eshallots, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, brown sugar, Wonton wrappers. For the stock -Chicken stock powder, extra sesame oil, extra eshallots, extra soy sauce , water.
Method
- Combine all ingredients together ( for the filling ) place a small amount of the filling onto a wanton wrapper and wet the edges of the wrappers with a little bit of water. Once the filling is placed, wrap the wonton into a triangle shape, press edges together and ensure there is no air in the package. Once all the wontons have been made, set aside. Add 9 cups of water, 2 level tablespoon of chicken stock powder, 2 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 teaspoon sesame oil, and 1 stem of eshallot, thinly cut. Simmer and add the wontons one at a time. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve into bowls, garnish with eshallots
