Ingredients
- Nori Sheets
- Kewpie Mayonaise Low Fat
- Left over roast beef
- Avocado
- Carrot
- Cucumber
- Sushi Rice
- Sushi Seasoning Sauce
- Soy Sauce
- Wasabi
Method
- Add 2 cups of sushi rice to 3cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn down, cover, and let simmer for 12 minutes. Then take off heat and allow to cool. Whilst the rice cooks, slice your vegetables into thin long strips and do the same with the leftover beef (or whatever protein you decide to use)
- Once the rice is cool stir in sushi seasoning sauce. I used 6tablespoons. Stir thoroughly.
- Place one sheet of Nori onto the sushi mat. Spread the cooled rice onto the sheet. In the middle apply a strip of kewpie mayonnaise and then line the vegetables and meat up in a straight line. Using the mat, begin to roll the sushi up. Wet the end with water and roll firmly. Using a sharp knife slice into bite-size piecesRepeat until the rice runs out. Serve with wasabi or soy sauce.
