Ingredients
- 300gms mince pork
- 300 gms prawns ( diced )
- 5 dried shitake mushrooms (soaked & diced)
- 1 stalk shallot (chopped)
- 1 tsp light soya sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chicken powder
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tablesp cornflour
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Carrot for garnish
- Oil cooking spray
Method
- Filling - add mince pork, diced prawns, mushrooms, shallot & all seasoning into a bowl.Mix it well for 2 minute.
- Prepare steamer for steaming.
- Cut square wonton wrappers into round shapes.
- Place 1 heaped teaspoon of filling into the middle of wonton wrapper. Wet the edges of wonton wrapper with water & shape it into a Siu Mai. Garnish with a small piece of carrot. Filling will make 24 Siu Mai.
- Spray plate with cooking oil spray. Place Siu Mai on plate & steam on high for 10 minutes.
- It's fast and easy, delicious with chilli sauce.
