Ingredients
- 500g Beef strips
- 2 tablespoons of Sunflower oil
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine
- Chilli flakes to taste
- 1 Onion
- Bamboo shoot, can
- Approx 2 cups of any chopped vegetables
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons corn flour
- 2 tblspoons water, plus 1/3 cup water, separate
Method
- Mince garlic
- Chop vegetables
- In a small bowel, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, corn flour, wine and sesame oil
- Fry beef very hot pan, until just browned
- Remove beef from pan
- Fry garlic for 10 seconds, then add onion for 20 seconds, then add other vegetables for 2 minutes
- Return beef to pan
- Add sauce to pan, when it thickens, add extra water until sauce is desired thickness
- Heat through for a few minutes, serve with rice or noodles
