Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 600g chicken breast
- 1/2 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Dice chicken into bite sized pieces
- To make sauce, combine garlic powder, sweet chilli sauce, rice wine vinegar and tamari and set aside.
- Mix cornstarch, egg, garlic powder, paprika into a paste then coat chicken.
- Heat the oil in a pan on medium high heat and once hot, place chicken in pan.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes then turn over on other side to ensure chicken is cooked.
- Make a well in the pan and add the sauce.
- Mix sauce around so it heats up and thickens a bit, then mix chicken and sauce up in the pan.
- Serve with finely sliced green cabbage, steamed rice and thinly sliced spring onion.
