Ingredients
- 2 Tbs Kecap Manis
- 1 Tbs Honey
- 2 Tbs Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
- 250g Firm Tofu
- 2 Cups Sushi Rice Washed
- 3 Cups Water
- 1/4 Cup Obento Sushi Seasoning
- 1 Avocado
- 1 Carrot Julienned
- 1 Cucumber
- 6 Nori Sheets
- Kewpie
- Bamboo Sushi Mat
- Wasabi
Method
- Thickly grate tofu. Mix the first 5 ingredients in a bowl and add the grated tofu. Marinade for 15-30 minutes.
- Cook sushi rice according to packed. Once cooked, add Obento Sushi Seasoning to rice and allow to cool.
- Heat a fry pan to a medium high temperature and cook the marinated tofu for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool.
- Using a sushi mat, add 3/4 cup of sushi rice to nori sheet, pressing rice flat and evenly across nori sheet, leaving a 2-3 cm gap at the top of each sheet.
- At the bottom of each prepared nori sheet, arrange Kewpie, Tofu, carrot, cucumber and avocado. Roll nori sheet using your bamboo mat.
- Once all rolled, cut into 1-2 cm pieces and service with wasabi, soy sauce and kewpie. ENJOY
