Ingredients
- 500 grams yellowfin tuna portions
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 cup Obento teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup spring onions
- ground pepper to taste
- 2 cups of rice
- water
- 1 tsp kewpie mayonnaise
Method
- To make the marinade, mix the teriyaki sauce, cornflour, ground pepper, and garlic in a bowl. Add the tuna portions and coat it well with the marinade. Store in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- While waiting, prepare the rice.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated tuna portions for 5 minutes on each side. Season with pepper.
- Serve your Teriyaki Tuna Steak with warm rice and your preferred greens on the side. Garnish with spring onions, sesame seeds, and mayonnaise. Voila!
