Ingredients
- 1/2 Avocado-sliced
- 1/2 cucumber sliced
- 1 carrot julienned
- Ajishima Nori Furikake rice seasoning to taste
- 4 cups sushi rice
- Obento sushi seasoning for cooking and dressing (12 teaspoons)
- Obento Yaki Nori Sushi sheets 10
- Kewpie mayonaise
- Soy sauce for dipping
- Wasabi for dipping
Method
- Cook 4 cups sushi rice in rice cooker. Mix 12 teaspoons of Obento sushi seasoning to the rice.
- Slice up cucumber and julienne carrots. Slice avocado.
- Using a sushi roller, add rice to the base and layer avocado, cucumber and carrots in a row. Add Ajishima Nori Furikake rice seasoning to taste.
- Roll sushi and cut into slices for the kids to enjoy. I add kewpie mayonnaise and soy sauce with wasabi as sauces to dip. I serve this to my 4 kids with a side of Edamame beans or Miso soup every Monday for a quick, healthy and enjoyable meal and they love it.
