Ingredients
- Ingredients:2 pieces of frozen udon noodles
- 2½ cups stir-fry vegetables (e.g. mushrooms, bok choy, onions), chopped
- 2 stalks spring onion, sliced diagonally
- 8 pieces of meatball, sliced. You can use any type of protein
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Yaki Udon Noodle Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon ABC sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt pepper to taste
Method
- Prepare the Sauce: Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Cook the Udon Noodles:Remove the udon noodles from their package and add them to a pot of boiling water.Stir gently until the noodles are separated and pliable (1-2 minutes).Rinse and drain the noodles under cold water.
- Heat a pan over high heat and add the olive oilAdd the onion and stir fry until fragrant. Add the bok choy, mushroom, meatballs stir fry until the vegetables are half-cooked.
- Add the noodles, sauce, and spring onion. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes or until well combined. Adjust the amount of sauce to taste. Serve immediately while hot.
