Braised Abalone with Fat Choy (Black Moss) and Shiitake Mushrooms

Ingredients
- Fat choy (black moss)
- Abalone (fresh or canned)
- Oyster sauce
- Wombok cabbage
- Shaoxing rice wine
- Ginger
- Cooking oil
- Garlic

Method
- Pour the oil into a wok or saucepan on high heat. When hot, turn the heat to medium and add the garlic and ginger in to cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms in. Stir fry them for 2 minutes.Add the abalone in and stir fry for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the oyster sauce, salt, sugar and chicken bouillon powder.Mix and cook all the ingredients for 2 minutes, then stir in the Shaoxing rice wine.
- Pour the water in, give it a quick stir and bring to a boil.Optional to add coconut milk instead for a fresh twist. You can also add tofu.
- When boiling, turn the heat down to low-medium and simmer for 2 hours
