Faux Roe (caviar)

Ingredients
- 1-Cup Chia seeds
- 3/4 Cup water
- 2 Tblsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tblsp Fish Sauce
- 1 Nori Sheet (ground into powder)
- 1 Tblsp Salt
- 3 Tblsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tblsp White Vinegar or Lemon Juice

- SQUID BRAND - FISH SAUCE
- LEE KUM KEE - GOLD LABEL SOY SAUCE
Method
- Tear nori seaweed sheet and use a spice grinder or blender to make into a fine powder.
- Add all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Whisk the mixture to combine ingredients and accelerate the process of chia seeds forming a gelatinous texture.
- Place in refrigerator overnight. Stir mixture occasionally adding more water and olive oil to loosen to a caviar texture.
- Serve cold as you would with caviar, you can also use in other recipes as a garnish or as an ingredient. Very good flavour and texture made for pennies.
