Honey Glazed Char Siu Chicken Drumettes

Ingredients
- 750 gms chicken drummettes
- 2 tablesp LKK Char Siu Sauce
- 1 tablesp dark soy sauce
- 1 tablesp light soy sauce
- 1 tablesp brown sugar
- 1 tsp pure sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon mince garlic
- 1 teaspoon mince ginger
- 1 tablesp Shaoxing wine
- 6 stalks of Choy Sum , 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp oil
- 2 bowls of Boiled Jasmin Rice
- 1 cucumber sliced
- Garnish -1 Rose Carrot & toasted sesame seeds
- Honey glaze - mix 3 tablesp of honey with 1 tablesp of water.

Method
- Marinate Chicken Drumettes- put drumettes in a zip lock bag, add Char Siu sauce, dark & light soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, shaoxing wine, mince garlic & ginger. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
- Remove drumettes from bag and place it in a single layer in tray of air fryer. Cook at 180C for 10 mins, turn it over & cook for another 10 mins. Brush it with honey glaze & cook for a further 10 mins both sides of drumettes on high at 200C.
- When drumettes are cooking in airfryer, cook jasmine rice in rice cooker, blanch choy sum in hot water with salt & cooking oil.
- In a large wide bowl, assemble chicken drumettes, choy Sum & cucumber on top of cooked rice. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds & I added a carrot rose.
- This bowl of delicious chicken drumettes is juicy, caramelised & packed with umami. Enjoy it with choy sum, cucumber & fluffy jasmine rice.
