Ingredients
- 6 sheets Nori
- 1.5 cups sushi rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 x carrot
- 1 x cucumber
- 1/2 avocado
- 3 small cans of tuna
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Pinch pepper
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- Cook sushi rice per packet instructions. Leave to cool
- Funky cut carrot, avocado and cucumber into strips
- Drain tuna and mix with mayo and pepper
- Lie nori on bamboo mat. Fill 3/4 of the nori sheet with a layer of rice. Press down with spoon until flat. In middle of nori rice sheet horizontally lay strips of chosen filling. Gently firmly roll sushi using bamboo mat for leverage. Wet end of nori slightly to stick.
- Cut rolls into one inch lengths and discard ends. Or feed them to kids. Enjoy with soya sauce
