Okonomiyaki with garlic prawns

Ingredients
- Okonomiyaki flour or plain flour
- Garlic prawns
- Egg
- Dashi (fish stock)
- Cabbage or finely grated vegetable mix (carrot, cabbage, zucchini etc)
- Spring onions
- Okonomiyaki sauce
- Bonito flakes
- Kewpie mayonnaise

Method
- Okonomiyaki pancake: 100g plain flour or okonomiyaki flour, 1 tsp. Dashi, 1 egg, 200g finely grated cabbage (or vegetable mix), 100 g garlic prawns (thaw if frozen) and cut into halves, 100 mls warm water. Toppings:2 spring onions, (chopped), bonito flakes, Okonomiyaki sauce, Kewpie mayonnaise
- Okonomiyaki pancake: 100g plain flour or okonomiyaki flour, 1 tsp. Dashi, 1 egg, 200g finely grated cabbage (or vegetable mix), 100 g garlic prawns (thaw if frozen) and cut into halves, 100 mls warm water. Toppings: 2 spring onions (chopped), bonito flakes, Okonomiyaki sauce, Kewpie mayonnaise
- Mix pancake ingredients together in a bowl. Place non-stick frypan on medium heat and lightly oil. Cook half the mixture, shaping it into a pancake. Heat for 5 minutes then turn over and heat the other side. Repeat for the second okonomiyaki. Place on serving plate, top with spring onions, bonito flakes, okonomiyaki sauce and Kewpie mayonnaise. Delicious!
