
Ingredients
- Organic chicken or pork mince 500grams
- 1 x 227gram can of Valcom Water Chestnuts Chopped
- One onion diced
- 5 tablespoons fresh grated ginger
- 5 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil for frying
- Black Sesame seeds for garnish
- Iceberg lettuce cups for serving
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
Method
- Finely dice onion and grate ginger. Melt coconut oil and heat on medium in a frying pan or wok. Add onion, garlic and chicken or pork mince.
- Cook until onion is soft and meat cooked through. Add hoisin sauce and soy sauce or tamari.
- Serve the mince mixture in lettuce cups and top with sesame seeds. I also added some gado gado peanut sauce for an extra taste explosion on the plate.
