Ingredients
- 500g Pork mince
- 2 diced carrots
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup shallots
- 1 tin (225g) valcom bamboo shoots slices
- 1 tbs garlic oil
- 1 tbs sesame oil
- 2 tbs fish sauce
- 2 tbs gluten free soy sauce
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbs tomato paste
- 1 tbs freshly grated ginger
- Fried eggs
Method
- Cook the rice according to pack, set aside to cool slightly.
- In a medium pan or wok heat garlic oil and add carrots and cabbage. Cook for 3-4 mins until almost cooked.
- In same pan, add pork mince and cook until brown.
- Add grated ginger, bamboo shoots, tomato paste, sesame oil, fish sauce and soy sauce and season. Cook for 10 minutes. Taste and adjust sauces to your liking.
- Just before you are ready to serve, add rice and stir. Top with a fried egg and shallots.
