Method
- Cook sushi rice in rice cooker. Once fully cooked combine icing sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and sesame seeds together and mix into the rice.
- Pan fry salmon.
- Once salmon is cooked, shred the salmon with a fork.
- Prepare vegetables for the sushi. Start by cutting up carrots, cucumber and avocado in long strips.
- Lay a sheet of seaweed paper on a plate and begin spreading a layer of rice.
- Then place vegetables and shredded salmon at one end of the paper.
- Dip fingers in water and gently roll the sushi to ensure it sticks.
- Finally seal the edges of the sushi with more water and cut into small circular pieces.
