Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast or thigh meat
- 8 tbsp Obento Teriyaki marinade
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 cup of short-medium grain white rice
- 1/2 head of broccoli
- 1 carrot, sliced or julienne
- Pinch of black pepper
- Sesame seeds
Method
- Dice the chicken into small, bite sized pieces. Add 4 tablespoons Obento Teriyaki marinade sauce, cover and place in fridge for 10 minutes. While waiting, cook the white rice and steam the broccolini and carrot, set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok or large frypan over high heat. Add in the chicken and stir fry for approx 4 minutes, until it becomes a golden brown
- Add an additional 4 tablespoons Ubento Teriyaki marinade sauce to the chicken and stir in. Continue cooking for a minute and then let it simmer for about 5 minutes so the sauce can thicken.
- Serve the Teriyaki chicken on top of a bed of rice along with the broccoli and carrot. Garnish with cracked black pepper and sesame seeds.
