Tofu Mochi Isobe-Yaki

Ingredients
- 150g silken tofu
- 10 tbsp glutinous rice flour
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 tbsp bonito flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Pinch salt
- 2 tbsp oil-for cooking
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tbsp caster sugar
- 1/2 Obento Yaki Nori sheet

Method
- Mash the tofu with a fork and mix through finely chopped chives, bonito flakes, sesame seeds, salt and glutinous rice flour.
- Mould into 5 circle patties about 1cm thick.
- Mix soy sauce and caster sugar in a cup and set aside.
- Cut strips of nori about 2cm wide and 7cm long and set aside.
- Heat oil in a frypan over medium heat.
- Cook patties until crisp and golden on each side (approx 4 min per side).
- Once cooked on both sides, move to one side of the pan and lower heat before adding the soy sauce mix to the other side.
- As the sauce thickens slightly, toss the patties through to coat on both sides of the patty.
- Remove from heat and wrap the nori strips half around the front and back of the patties. Serve and enjoy!
