Ingredients
- Obento mirin seasoning
- Hakubaku organic udon noodles
- Shimaya bonito soup stock
- Fried shallots
- Kikkoman all purpose soy sauce
- Sprinkle of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- Hot water
- Boiled egg

Method
- Boil noodles in a pot of hot water for 8 minutes, drain, then rinse in cold water and drain again. If you wish to add an egg, boil and prepare as well.
- In a bowl, add in about a tbsp and a half of bonito soup stock, a cup of hot water, a tsp of mirin seasoning, and a tsp of soy sauce.
- Lastly, add the noodles and egg to that bowl, and top it off with some fried shallots.
