Ingredients
- 1 cup sushi rice
- 5 tbs sushi seasoning
- 1 small cucumber
- 1/4 avocado
Method
- Rinse sushi rice
- Place rice in a saucepan and add 1 1/2 cups water
- Bring to the boil then cover and reduce heat for 15 min
- Leave rice to absorb remaining liquid
- While still hot, transfer cooked rice to a glass bowl. Add sushi seasoning and stir through
- When rice is cool, place 1 nori sheet onto a bamboo rolling mat
- Spread a layer of cooked rice mix over the nori sheet, leaving 2cm at one end
- Cut cucumber and avocado into strips then place them horizontally along the centre line of the rice.
- Use the bamboo mat to roll up the nori sheet.
