Ingredients
- SUSHI RICE: *3cups cooked OBENTO sushi rice (cooked as per packet instructions) *2 tablespoons OBENTO Rice wine vinegar *1 tablespoon white sugar *1 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce
- TUNA/SALMON LAYER:*2 cups steamed (or canned) tuna/salmon, shredded*1/2 cup KEWPIE Roasted Sesame dressing *1/2 cup KEWPIE mayonnaise *1 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce *1 tablespoon Sesame oil *1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper/paprika
- CHEESY CORN:*2 canned sweet corn kernels*1 cup KEWPIE mayonnaise*1/2 cup cream cheese*1 tablespoon soy sauce
- GARNISH:Cucumber, remove seeds, cut into small cubesCarrots, grated/ finely choppedSesame seedsSeaweed flakes/NoriSliced mangoes/peaches
Method
- Layer prepared components on an oven-proof dish, starting with sushi rice on the bottom, top with tuna/salmon mixture followed by the cheesy corn mixture.
- Sprinkle with chopped cucumber, chopped carrots, sesame seeds, seaweed flakes. Top with sliced mangoes. Finally drizzle with KEWPIE Roasted Sesame dressing!
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 10 minutes. Best served warm and eaten with Nori (dried seaweed) sheets.
