Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plum sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 garlic gloves, crushed
- 2cm piece ginger, finely grated
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 150g green beans, trimmed and halved
- 150g carrots, julienned
- 500g beef mince
- 1 Brown onion
- 350g udon noodles
Method
- Combine sauces, sesame oil, garlic and ginger in a jug. Cook udon noodles according to packet instructions.
- Heat saucepan or wok over high heat. Add half the vegetable oil to pan, swirl to coat the base. Add the beans and carrots. Cook for a few minutes until the beans start to char. Transfer to a bowl.
- Heat the remaining oil in the pan. Add the mince and onion. Cook for a few minutes until the mince is browned all over. Add the sauce mixture and cooked vegetables. Cook for a few more minutes, until everything is heated and the sauce starts to thicken.
- Drain the cooked noodles. Divide among serving bowls. Top noodles with the saucy mince mixture. Serve.
