
Ingredients
- 500gms of mince steak
- Olive oil/ sesame oil
- Sliced Vegetables for stir frying1x carrot
- 1x red onion
- 1 bunch broccolini
- 1 bunch bok choy , reserve green heads to add last
- 1x red Capsicum
- Generous handful of beans
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped finely
- Rice to serve
- Chow Mein Sauce 11/2 tbsp soy sauce 11/2 tbsp oyster sauce1/12 tbsp rice wine vinegar 1 tbdp kecap manis ( sweet soya sauce)2 tsp brown sugar1 tsp sesame oil1crushed garlic clovePepper
Method
- Heat oil in wok or large frypan ( I add a mixture of olive and sesame oil)Add carrot, beans and onion stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped garlic , being careful to not burn
- Add all other vegetables except bok choy greens. Stir fry for another 1 to 2 minutes
- Remove stir fryed vegetables from pan.Add extra oil and heat
- Stir fry mince until brown then add chow mein sauce and stir through.
- Return all vegetables to the pan, adding bok choy greens. Stir fry until bok choy has wilted.
- Serve with hot rice
