Ingredients
- 10 chicken wings, dry and chilled
- 2tsp minced garlic
- 3 tsp minced ginger
- 2 tbs Lee Kum Kee soy sauce
- 2 tbs gochujang
- 60ml tomato sauce
- 60ml miren
- 50ml honey
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2/3 cup cornflour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1tsp baking powder
- peanut oil
- sesame seeds
Method
- fry garlic, onion and ginger 2min in a 2tbs oil. Add remainng ingredients and simmer 7-10mins
- Heat the remaining oil.
- Mix cornflour, salt and baking powder. Drench the wings. Deep fry the wings in 2 batches until golden. Remove, drain.repeat step 3.
- Add to the sauce and stir to coat thoroughly.Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with rice and sliced cucumber.
