Ingredients
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 3 cups water
- 425 gram can of tinned tuna in brine
- 1 small cucumber
- 3 quarters cup of mayonnaise
- Brunch garlic chives
- 4 tablespoons sushi seasoning
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- Ten pieces pickled ginger
- Wasabi paste (to taste)
- Cracked black pepper (to taste)
- 4 - 6 nori sheets (crushed up)
Method
- Add 2 cups of sushi rice to 3 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to boil, put lid on and reduce to simmer for 20 minutes. Once cooked, sprinkle sushi seasoning over rice and wait until cool.
- Meanwhile, add tinned tuna, mayonnaise, garlic chives and cracked black pepper together in a bowl and stir until well combined. Cut up a cucumber into bite size pieces.
- Once rice has cooled, put onto a plate and add crushed up Obento nori sheets on top. Now add the tuna mix and cucumber. Sprinkle with soy sauce and garnish with pickled ginger and S&B wasabi paste.
