Ingredients
- Vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 Chicken breast fillets diced
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 2 Garlic gloves
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
- 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 4 table spoons sauce sauce
- Tonkatsu sauce to serve
- Frozen Bao buns
- 1 pack salad mix
Method
- Lightly beat eggs in a bowl. Place flour, salt, pepper, garlic salt paprika in a separate bowl
- Dredge diced chicken in eggs then in flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in Wok or large pan. Fry chicken in 2 batches and set aside
- While chicken is cooking, mix together Sesame oil, garlic, rice wine vinegar, honey, sweet chilli sauce,tomato sauce, brown sugar and soy sauce
- Place sauce in the Wok or pan until it bubbles then add chicken back.
- Cook bao buns to packet instructions. Add salad mix and chicken. Serve with a drizzle of tonkatsu sauce
