Ingredients
- 500g Mince meat
- 1 Silverbeet
- 2 lemons- juice squeezed
- 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
- 1 Red onion
- 200mls Obento rice wine vinegar
- 1 cup SR flour
- 1 cup of plain flour
- Olive oil
- 1 cup of warm water
Method
- Wash and Cut Silverbeet in bite size portions. Place in pot with fresh water until it boils. Then strain out water.
- Pan fry mince with olive oil and add Cinnamon while cooking
- Strain Silverbeet and add meat & squeezed lemons.Dice red onion in a small bowel. Add 200 mls obento rice wine vinegar. Let sit for 10mins then strain.
- To make pastry - one cup of plain flour and one cup of SR flour to a bowl. Add warm water with a dash of olive oil mix with fork.
- Seperate and roll pastry into even portions (usually makes 9/10). Spread plain flour on clean surface and roll out flat with rolling pin.
- Add portions of meat mixture with onions to pastry. Close pastry.
- Fry in pan or air fryer until golden brown. Serve up and enjoy.
