Ingredients
- 500g chicken thigh
- 2 tbs cooking oil
- Seasoning
- 1 tbs gochujang / Korean chilli pepper paste
- 1tbs doenjang / Korean soybean paste
- 1tbs sugar
- 1tbs corn syrup
- 1/2 tbs soy sauce
- 1/2tbs sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp gochugaru / Korean chilli powder
- 1/2tbs grated garlic
- 1/2 tbs cooking sake
- Garnish
- 1 spring onion, thinly slice
- To serve
- Radish kimchi
- Cabbage kimchi
- Rice cake
- Lettuce
- Raw clove garlic
- Birds eye chillies
Method
- Flatten the chicken leg and thinly spread it
- Mix all the seasoning ingredients into 1 bowl
- Add the chicken into the bowl, combine it with the seasoning and marinate it for about an hour
- Heat the grill pan and put the oil
- Grill the chicken using low heat for about 20 minutes each sides until the chicken cooked (adjust the time depend on the heat of your pan and the thickness of the chicken)
- Serve it with side dishes (radish and cabbage kimchi), rice cake, lettuce, garlic clove and more chillies
