
Ingredients
- 500g Beef chuck steak,
- 2x White potato
- 2 x Carrots
- 2 x White onion
- Large tablespoon Miso paste or kombu
- S&b curry
- White rice
- 400ml water
Method
- Peel the onion, potatoes and carrots
- Chop the onion, carrots and potatos roughly and put into a rice cooker pot
- Add 400ml water in the pot and the miso or kombu
- Dry the steak as much as possible then cut into bite sized pieces
- Salt and pepper the steak then fry in a pan until brown on both sides
- Add the steak to the pot and scrape the pan with some water then add it to the pot too
- Turn on the rice cooker
- Once the rice cooker finishes, mix the curry then close the lid to let it simmer for another 10-15 minutes
- Once the carrots are soft, it's done
- Serve with white rice
