Ingredients
- S&B Japanese Style Curry Sauce
- White Rice
- 1 Raw Egg Yolk
- Lettuce Leaves
- 1 Sausage
- Green onions
Method
- Cook the Rice 1. Rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. 2. Cook the rice using a rice cooker or a pot with the appropriate amount of water. 3. Once cooked, shape the rice into a mound on the plate, leaving a small well in the center for the egg yolk.
- Prepare the Curry 1. Heat the Japanese curry sauce in a small pot over medium heat. 2. If using a curry block, dissolve it in 1 cup of hot water and stir until smooth. 3. Once hot, pour the curry over one side of the rice. 4. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top for garnish.
- Prepare the Side Dishes 1. Cabbage & Ham: • In a pan, sauté chopped cabbage with a little oil. • Add sliced ham or luncheon meat and stir-fry until slightly browned. • Remove and set aside on the plate. 2. Sausages & Lettuce: • Slice the sausages into bite-sized pieces and lightly fry them in a pan. • Place them on fresh lettuce leaves.
- Assemble the Dish 1. Place the egg yolk in the well of the rice mound. 2. Serve the curry beside the rice. 3. Arrange the cabbage-ham mixture and lettuce with sausages on the side.
