Ingredients
- 150 grams sliced checken breast
- 2 teaspoons carb soda
- 2 table spoons soy sauce & 1/2 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking sake
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli paste & 3 deseeded red chillies
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- Sliced pickled ginger
- Kimchi
- Dollop of wasabi ( optional)
Method
- Toss chicken pieces in bi carb & let stand for 10 minutes. Remove & wash in water & pat dry . This tenderises chicken.
- In a bowl mix soy, mirin, cooking sake, sesame oil & chilli paste, ginger, garlic, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha
- Drop deseeded chill into bowl & gently push with spoon to release juices
- Cook chicken pieces until cooked & a soft golden color
- Put chicken pieces in plate - and spoon soy mixture over
- Serve sliced ginger & kimchi on the side
- Place a dollop of wasabi on side ( optional)
